They acquired their name from the desire of their founders to accept both local and international talent into the team. Their colors are black, blue and gold, the first two of which make their uniform. They have been leaders in the soccer front and have never faced relegation from the Serie A. They also hold a record as the first Italian team to win the Champions’ League, Coppa Italia and Scudetto all in one season.
Inter is ranked 9th among the world’s top ten wealthiest clubs earning over $190 million annually. AC on the other hand comes in 6th with annual revenues of more than $227. Between the two, these teams hold over 30 national, regional and local soccer titles.
These two share the San Siro Stadium named after the home district. The stadium was originally called the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in honor of a soccer hero who at some point played for both these teams.
