Casio PX 330 Review – Awesome Quality at a relatively cheap cost
My very first electric keyboard was a Casio. We are talking about 27 years ago now (and it was second hand when I received it) but I definitely loved it and it provided me with a lot of fulfillment for many years. However, like just about all if not all technology, there have been some substantial improvements since then and it was with a quiet sense of anticipation that I got to review the Casio PX 330, a digital piano first released to the market place at the end of 2009.
The first thing I noticed about the Casio PX 330 was just how much the grand piano sound really sounded like a grand piano. The sound is superb and complemented nicely by the effective in-built speakers. My old Casio had a piano sound that was similar to a xylophone so clearly the Casio PX 330 was a wonder of contemporary technology. Even while I delighted in the sound, I was pleased by the feel of the keys as I played them and they responded to the force I used just as a real piano would do. I asked myself how this outcome was achievable and a tiny amount of questioning uncovered this was Casio’s Tri-Sensor scaled action technology working. My old Casio was restricted in that it only had about 40-50 keys but the Casio PX 330 is a full 88 key digital piano which will allow for a heap more realism whenever playing piano pieces of music.
As I spent more time with this digital piano I discovered that it is outstanding if you are looking to either understand the piano with a tutor or play the keyboard with one other player as it comes with a Duet function whereby the keyboard can be split into two with each player playing his or her part. This means a student could discover strategy from a tutor by watching and playing at the same time or a couple could come together by playing a love song duet piece. Seclusion can be maintained as there are 2 headphone jacks that can be utilzed by each player.
One function which I really adored is that there is a large selection of sounds and rhythms to play with and I could really feel my inner creative genius just aching to share itself. What’s more, there is a sixteen track recording function in conjunction with an SD memory card slot so that I could capture this expression of genius, upload it via USB and then send it to all my family members and good friends. Personally, I think that is quite thrilling though I am not sure if my buddies and family members would agree.
At the end of the day, I was suitably pleased. The Casio PX 330 has a whole bunch of features that are very pleasing and I have not even pointed out that it is light-weight and thus effortless to carry to gigs, churches, family and friends, wherever you wish to perform. One of the most well-liked consumer polls rate this keyboard 4.4 out of 5 so you can be certain that I’m not by myself in my favor of the Casio PX 330.
