The following is what I do to avoid radiation.
First, I stretch my arm, press the hands-free button and then put the phone near my left ear when I hear the other side’s voice. When the phone is in the standby state, it produces the least radiation and when it is in the call state, the radiation increases. Moreover, the radiation is the biggest during the period when the phone number has been dialed out and is not connected. So, before you speak, you’d better keep the phone away from you as far as possible. If you use the hands-free button to speak, you can receive even less radiation by keeping your ear a little away from the phone.
Second, I often put my mobile phone into my handbag while I am out and put it on the table while I am at home. Mobile phone radiation does harm to your heart and other organs, so do not put it into the pockets casually when you are out. As soon as you get home, you should keep it away as far from you as possible. Never put it beside your pillow while you are asleep for the radiation does great harm to your head, resulting in headache, dizziness, insomnia and other symptoms.
Third, I usually try to use earphones to receive calls, for in this way, I can receive less radiation.
In addition, I have two mobile phones and one of them is a CDMA phone which has less radiation compared with the usual phones. When I am at work, I use the other phone, and when I am off work, I use the CDMA phone.
