Will Less Money Spent Still Allow For a Total Body Transformation with Power Half Hour?
Power Half Hour is a 30 Minute Workout that the Beachbody company hopes has potential to become a house-hold name in the home fitness market in the next half-decade.
On the positive side for the product, Power Half Hour keeps excellent company. The workout was the brainchild of famous P90X creator Tony Horton. Many people don’t know that Power Half Hour was around before P90X was ever created.
If you haven’t heard of p90X, well I guess all I can say is: welcome back to civilization. P90X is short for Power 90 Extreme and was designed and marketed for rigorous focused training at home to literally remake the users physical fitness and appearance.
In the opinion of many (but not all), the astounding success of P90X is mostly due to the fact that it has been a marvelous success in doing exactly what it set out to do. The before and after photos from the internet and the now famous infomercials are nothing less than amazing.
I will tell you as a multi-time graduate of the program, the results are no accident. I will also tell you that you don’t come by those results without consistent effort and the right coaching. The program is also $100 or so dollars. These days that’s not cheap especially if you simply put the thing on the shelf
The fundamental question about what stands to happen with Power Half Hour as it becomes a more prominent offering from Beach body is: can a 30 minute workout based on similar principles as P90X, deliver similar results?
My opinion is an unqualified: yes. A huge factor in favor of the workout catching in my view point is the Power Half Hour price structure and guarantee. You can get the Power Half Hour program for about 1/3 of the cost of P90X.
This just opens up a wider potential market. This is especially true for people who are out of shape, but still want the makeover results of P90X, yet are frankly scared. They won’t throw $100 at something that frightens them.
They need to be excited. The next question is should they be?
Many users who are discovering Power Half Hour who have both a recent exercise history, or none to speak of are reporting that they are seeing changes they can really see and feel within 6 days. Total time invested with a daily 30 Minute Workout comes in at about 3 hours.
This is as promised by the Beach body people marketing the course
If we learned anything from the P90X experience it is that word of mouth which is positive is pouring gasoline on the fire.
The jury is definitely still out, but early returns from users seem to love the value you get with the more inexpensive Power Half Hour. We’ll have to see how the product stands up to inevitable criticism.
