Kaolin ore characteristic introductions in mainland
China’s kaolin occurrences are widespread in 21 provinces (autonomous regions). The distribution of 101 large (including superlarge) and medium-sized occurrences with known retained reserves is shown in Fig. 4.22.1. Nearly 70% retained reserves are concentrated in Jiangsu, Fujian, Guangdong, Hainan and Guangxi along the southeast coast of China, as well as Jiangxi and Hunan; Inner Mongolia, Shanxi and Shaanxi are next in importance. Generally, Northeast China and most parts of Northwest China are lacking in kaolin resources, and the retained reserves in southern China is about 2.5 times those in northern China, but the latter has a great potential for hard kaolin resources.
The retained reserves in south-central China account for 45% of the country’s total. The retained reserves in Guangdong Province rank first among various provinces (regions) of China. There are many kaolin occurrences there and those that have relatively abundant reserves are Maoming City, Zhanjiang City and Gaozhou County. Among other things, the Shange mine of the Maoming City is exceedingly large in size, with retained reserves of 286 million tons. Guangdong is one of the leading producers of kaolin in China, where most major deposits have been mined. At Hepu County, Guangxi, there are four superlarge or large deposits, with retained reserves100 million tons, which can be selectively used. Hunan Province, is also one of the leading kaolin producers in China, where there are many kaolin occurrences, mainly of medium or small size, distributed in Liling, Hengyang, Hengshan, Xinning, Changning, Xupu and Miluo. Nearly half of the deposits have been mined. In addition, kaolin deposits also occur in Qiongshan of Hainan, Jiaozhu of Henan and Zhicheng of Hubei. As the professional manufacturer of complete sets of mining machinery, such as stone crusher, ball mills, Henan Hongxing is always doing the best in products and service.limestone rotary kiln:http://www.hxjq-crusher.com/23.html.ore separating line:http://www.hxjqchina.com/.
