Near Field Communication in iPhone
The tech market is hot with rumors about iPhone 5. Among all of them, the hottest one is about inclusion of near field communication in iPhone. There are high chances that iPhone 5 will come equipped with an application called iWallet that will use NFC.
As everyone knows, NFC wasn’t included in iPhone 4S because experts said that the time isn’t right yet- maybe because NFC wasn’t that famous earlier. But as things in the wireless field are moving rapidly, we will see near field communication in iPhone.
According to DigiTimes, in coming two years, the number of NFC users will grow from present 10% to 50%. Inclusion of NFC in iPhone 5 will play a big role in this. This is certainly good news for companies like nfcwireless.com.au that deal inNFC label, stickers, readers, and writers.
A recent article published in MainDevice said that there are above 200 million records regarding credit cards in the iTunes database. If Apple includes NFC in its coming iPhone, it will certainly give it a competitive edge as users will find it easier to make purchase through their phones.
There are already many NFC enabled phones by HTC, Samsung, RIM and Nokia in the market that give stiff competition to Apple. It is high time Apple should adopt near field communication.
