The company is fully owned and operated by a man named Jeff Rutt, he is the prime reason why Keystone has grown into a large scale house building entity in his hometown. Mr. Rutt has been in the industry of constructing all types of houses for more than two decades and counting, since 1992 Keystone worked its way up to the top of the ladder by making convenient and comfortable housing developments for the residents living in the Pennsylvania state. Jeff wanted to build a company that is purely dedicated and committed in bringing out the best in the people’s humble abodes.
Before Jeff Rutt pictured how he would put his idea into completion, he was fist working with his wife in their 200 acre dairy farm in Lancaster County. His profession as a farmer ended up 15 years ago, Rutt eventually felt that his labor in working for their family farm for 100 hours a week has taken such a toll in his personal time and physical performance. For that reason, he aimed for something as rewarding but executed in lesser hours, and that’s where the idea of building houses came into his mind. Since Rutt is innately a hard worker even back then, he strived hard to make sure that Keystone will become one of the leaders in housing projects in their community, and after long years of perseverance and dedication, Rutt was regarded as America’s Best Builder in Builder’s Magazine for three times in a row.
Jeff Rutt exerted all effort possible to make sure that Keystone becomes more than just a mere housing development and construction entity, which is why Jeff founded a non-profit organization called HOPE International. It is a charitable institution that provides families from local to international areas with quality houses possible, and other than giving shelters to people, Rutt also implicated in the organization with what to teach the public when it comes to battling poverty and abuse. Jeff made a commitment that a percentage of his profits will go directly to mothers and children in their ongoing mission projects.
