Zoom H4n Review

Seriously, I was initially just a little skeptical about the quality of Zoom’s audio saving. After trying it out there for a few months, I can confidently say that this Digital Recorder does a few seriously good quality audio recording, especially for its size and price.
The actual feature list on this dvr is exhaustive enough to cater to everyone right from musicians looking to record their rehearsals for you to sound guys by using this as their backup recorders.
First thing I discovered when I picked up this particular recorder was who’s has a solid/pro feel into it unlike most other portable recorders, which have a cheap plastic feel. Additionally, it has a rubberized case, which gives a solid grip.
The interface is simple and easy to use and you will pretty much operate this particular recorder with one particular hand.
Overall, it’s really intuitive and all the particular controls feel reliable. Its as easy as compact digital except, I was surprised that you have to press record twice on this recorder for it to start saving.
The first time you media record, it goes straight into record ready setting where you can set your current recording levels. The next time you click the record switch is when it actually commences recording. This isn’t something useful breaker once you get the hang of it. The backlit Live view screen screen is a perfect dimensions to monitor audio amounts and it displays all you need to know clearly.
It’s great too have the ability to record a concert by connecting the Portable Digital Recorder to a collection out or tape out on a combining board. I find the actual 4-channel mode is really awesome for concert tracks because you can simultaneously File the Mixing board nourish as well as a stereo Place Mix using its outstanding onboard Mics.
