The Astrology Traits

The word ‘astrology’ comes from the early Latin word, ‘astrologia’, deriving from the Greek noun meaning “account of the stars”. Astrologiawith a later word Astronomiawas later derived into the meaning star divinationfor the scientificterms. Many people think of it as a newspaper’s one-sentence predictions for the day ahead; the seemingly similar types of advice to keep in mind while taking decisions blindly into the future.Astrologers argue that the predictions found in the newspapers and other magazinesare nowhere near the depth and subtlety of a professional astrologer analyzing a birth chart. Not only that, but astrologers perform a great deal of researchand pain to explain that astrology is not predictive and it’s not going to explain what is going to happen that day, or that month, or that year or anything similar to this. There are various symbolical ways to explain the science of astrology for the understanding of a person. One of such is called the ‘signs’.

In this the sky is divided into 12 parts, which are called constellations. Each constellation is represented by a different sign, and each sign represents different traits and qualities. The foundation for astrology is this system of signs, known as the ‘zodiac’. The most fundamental sign is a person’s Sun sign. The sun sign is a system in which only those positions of the planets are considered which affect the sun. Depending upon the birth month the position of the sun is considered within one of the twelve zodiac signs. The astrologers provide divine meanings to each of the sign separately by relating the movements of the planets relative to eachother. The only heavenly body that is the Moon has the fastest apparent movement compared to all other heavenly bodies. It is often used as an indicator of daily trends for sun sign astrology forecasts. The traditional astrologers do not approve the sun sign.

The known sun signs are;Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces. The other type of symbolical explanation is the “Planets”. This involves the study of the location of the moon and the planets of the solar system at the time of one’s birth play a huge role in an astrological chart. The planets that are used in the study are; the sun, the moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.Another type of the symbolicalastrological chart is the 12 houses that represent the 12 planets in the sky. The place where the planets fall in the house layout will also affect the reading of a chart. These are named as the “first house, “second house” up to “twelfth house” each of which represents different traits of the human nature like appearance, communication, siblings, employment, health, partnerships, career andfriendship etc.The planets and the signs interact with the houses for the chart reading. If the signs represent how something is expressed and the planets represent what is being expressed, the houses represent where those things are expressed respectively.
