How Structure Acts as the Key to Great Change with Beachbody.com’s Power Half Hour
As a veteran gym rat and serial workout jumper, when I found the famous workout P90X by Beachbody.com, I found one of the most important components to fitness success: structure.
What P90X gave me was a whole new body in 90 days. More than that, it gave me the understanding that if you want results in the gym that you can see and feel, you need a proven plan that lays out exactly what to do and when.
My history was basically to get the workout bug for whatever reason and at best find a partner with ideas on what we could do in the gym, but not have any real structure.
This was a proven path to failure. Failure in physical fitness equates to one thing normally: quitting. The number 1 reason people quit is they burn out. The number 1 reason people burn out is not from fatigue, but from not seeing measurable results they are pleased with.
A reemerging and interesting offering from the gang at Beach body is Power Half Hour. Like with P90X, Tony Horton is both creator and trainer during the workout process.
Power Half Hour has a slightly different structure. As the name suggests, Power Half Hour is a 3o minute workout. The 30 minute workout format is testing very well with people interested in fitness.
Basically it keeps with the idea that people would prefer to work harder for shorter durations, doing exactly what they are told, and feel comfortable that others before them have achieved winning results doing exactly the same thing.
A 30 minute workout format spread over 60 days puts a premium on elite instruction perhaps even more than in P90X. Every move has to be correct in form and order to make the complete result.
The exciting thing about Power Half Hour is with 5 dvds targeting specific total body fitness needs, a person starting from any level of fitness can create massive change.
Another big part of any fitness formula is structure of nutrition. Like P90X, Power Half Hour puts eating right front and center.
We all know plenty of fat guys that can run for miles. In the end they are still fat guys.
People absolutely want to end up looking better with any workout program they commit to. P90X understood this and made it a priority.
Power Half Hour likewise includes a nutrition guide that will promote the energy and body change you want from the workout program.
