PPR creates a Committee on Sustainable Development
The Board of Directors of PPR decided to establish a Committee on Sustainable Development, with the intention to entrust the presidency to Jochen Zeitz. In this context, it will continue to guide the broad guidelines of PPR in sustainable development and oversee the strategy of the branch PPR home.
Jochen Zeitz retain his position as Managing Director of the Sport & Lifestyle and Chief Sustainability Officer of PPR and continue to serve on the Executive Committee until October. At that date, the Sport & Lifestyle will report directly to Jean-François Palus, PPR’s Chief Operating Officer, who will be assisted by Todd Hymel as Chief Operating Officer of this division.
The role of Jochen Zeitz as Chairman of the Board of the Puma brand is unchanged.

Long-time advocate of the need for a more sustainable business, in April, Jochen Zeitz at Puma launched a long-term sustainable development, followed in May 2011 the first Environmental Income Statement assigning a monetary value the use of ecosystem services by the company throughout the supply chain.
This Environmental Statement of Income will be deployed on all brands of poles Sports & Luxury Lifestyle & PPR 2015. In October 2010, Jochen Zeitz was appointed Chief Sustainability Officer of PPR, and PPR launches shortly after home across the Group, an innovative cross in sustainable development.

The businessman is also a member of the Advisory Council on the Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB). He also serves on the Board of Directors of Harley Davidson, where he chairs the Development Committee.
