“We’ve replaced much of our older equipment with new, power-efficient equipment,” explains Director of Data Center Operations Sal Poliandro. “This has two benefits: energy efficiency and cost reduction.”

“Between smart server configuration, purchasing premium components and choosing power-efficient servers, we’ve halved our power usage for new deployments,” Poliandro says. Power-efficient servers require less power for cooling too. That means we’re saving money in the long run by making a smart investment today.
Adds COO Ross Brouse: “We want to save money by saving power. That, in turn, saves our clients money and keeps us competitive in our markets: private cloud and complex managed hosting.”
