Galvanized steel pipes exporters
Our ranges of galvanized coils are known for their superior performance and conformance to industry standards and guidelines. We are Manufacturing and Exporting wide range of Galvanized Steel Pipes & Steel Tubes for various purposes. Apart from the following standard range of products we also manufacture customized products as per the requirement of the buyers. Made from highest quality material, our galvanized coils are available in various specifications and are mainly used in home appliances, construction and machineries. In these galvanized coils, the thickness of plating is controlled with low tolerance and high erosion resistance. We have a large scale unit engaged in manufacturing and exporting galvanized steel tubes / pipes and welded black pipes/tubes and Electro galvanized Steel tubes/pipes. We manufacture steel tubes for a range of applications like Mild Steel tubes for structural purpose and mechanical & general engineering purpose, ERW Pipes for water, gas & sewerage, Steel tubes for idlers of belt conveyors, water wells and Lancing Pipes for various automotive & industrial applications.
Galvanization is the use of chemical process to cover the steel with a layer of zinc. The idea of galvanization was born in 1770 however; the actual process of galvanization took place in 1830s. After twenty years of experiments, finally galvanized steel pipes are manufactured and being used in 1850s. Initially, the production of galvanized steel was concentrated only in Europe. The first patent for the galvanization process was won by a French engineer in 1937. Our range of galvanized steel pipes and tubes are covered by a layer of zinc & are used for varied applications. These are available in various size and shapes based on the customer’s requirements. These tubes are natural corrosion resistant and hold functional durability, even in outdoor environments. Apart from preventing water corrosion, it is equally effective in dry, indoor environments. Galvanized Steel is those steel that has been covered with a layer of zinc metal. During galvanization, steel is immersed in a molten zinc bath ensuring a tough uniform barrier coating. Zinc’s natural corrosion resistance provides long-term protection to the steel pipes when it is exposed outdoor. Apart from preventing water corrosion, it is equally effective for dry indoor use. Galvanized pipes were commonly used for water supply lines many years ago, but over time many have filled with scale, which is why some older homes suffer from low water pressure. Hard water greatly reduces the life of steel pipe.
While it can be used for all piping inside a building, its most popular use today is for handrails or for replacement of existing pipe. Copper pipe and plastic are preferred for underground installation. Pipes and tubing made of galvanized steel has long been one of the most used building materials in the world. Zinc-coated galvanized steel pipes and tubes resist the attack of wind, water and road salts. Fittings for this type of pipe are of galvanized malleable (soft) cast iron. They connect by screwing onto the threaded pipe, after applying a small amount of pipe joint compound on the threads. Larger diameter pipe is welded rather than threaded. For decades, designers, builders and consumers seeking long-term structural performance in the harshest of outdoor applications have turned to zinc-coated steel pipes. Galvanized steel pipes can be seen using in electrical towers and household appliances. Even the body of heavy vehicles are built using galvanized steels.
