3 Laundry Secrets
Your boyfriend is mad at you, because you’ve put a red sock in the white pile again and now all his white T-shirts are pink.. Don’t worry, this unfortunate accident has happened to many, not only to you. To avoid being in this horrible situation again, you must know some laundry secrets, which will make the task easier.
1.Don’t throw out dyed clothes
There is no need to hurry up hiding the dyed clothes from the last laundry load. Although your friend probably prefers wearing white t-shirts, not pink, there isn’t even a reason to tell him about it. We asked some professionals from end of tenancy cleaning Hammersmith and here is their tip. Prepare your own bleaching solution, by mixing baking soda, salt and detergent in warm water. Leave the clothes to soak in for a while, then wash as usual once again, in your washing machine. After the cycle finishes, the clothes will be sparkling white again, and nobody has to know, you messed up in a first place.
2.Get rid of shoe odours
Almost all types of shoes get smelly with the time. Excess moisture is blamed to be the main reason for misty smells. You can’t stop foot perspiration, but what you can do, is deal with it in an effective way and extend the lifespan of your favourite pairs. In order to complete it, you’ll need some white chalk to put in your shoes at the end of the day. Chalk will absorb excess moisture and leave your shoes moist- and odour-free. In case you don’t have any chalk in handy, you can stuff your shoes with newspaper for the night. It’s better than doing nothing at all.
3.Restore the colour of your jeans
Dark jeans often develop a shine in the seat, due to constant wear. To remove that, cleaners Dalston recommend spraying the seat area with vinegar after laundering. Let it dry without rinsing, and the original dark colour will be restored.
Use the above mentioned secrets to solve laundry problems with an ease.
