Caution When Using A $10 or $15 Audio Mastering Service
I had a song mastered by one of these 15-dollar mastering services, if you can call it a mastering service, and it utterly sucked face!! I then sent my song to audio-mastering-mixing.com and the difference was night and day. Audio-mastering-mixing.com did such a perfect job compared to those 10 and 20 dollar mastering services and the cost was only 30 dollars per song. So for an extra 15 dollars, give or take, you can have your song sound like a treasure and have it radio ready, so it sounds like a commercially released song recorded by a signed artist and released by a major label.
What’s that old saying? That’s right, you get what you pay for. Learn from my mistakes and do not use a mastering service that charges between 10 – 25 dollars per song and albums for $199 and less. Why? Because you get what you pay for and you will just waste your money on these bedroom wanna be mastering engineers. Learn from my adventure, you will just have it re-mastered somewhere else after you get it back from one of these low end mastering services.
I say don’t waste money and time and just send it to audio-mastering-mixing.com.
Nearly all of these services that offer these really inexpensive prices are not professional and they lack the skills and knowledge of how to master a song correctly. Most of these people use illegal hacked software and their studio is in a corner of their bedroom with no sound treatment, no mastering gear and no tuned room. The bottom line is that if you select to use one of these services, youll just be sending it to another mastering studio to get it right..
Please learn from my mistakes and embrace a mastering studio like audio-mastering-mixing.com, because if you select one of the $10 or $20 mastering service, you will be sorry and you will wind up having your song re-mastered by someone who knows what their doing and by someone who has a tuned studio with high end gear and high end signal chains.
If it’s too good to be true, then it is usually is too good to be true. Live by these words and you will never get ripped off.
