Robert E Wright Accomplishments
Robert E Wright was born the year 1969 in Rochester, New York. He is now an established business, financial, monetary and economic historian. He is also the Marilyn Nef Family Chair and the inaugural Rudy of Political Economy in Augustana College located in South Dakota. He is also in the National Bureau of Economic Research, serving as a research economist. In addition to these responsibilities, Wright acts as an editor of several financial magazines and directs a number of institutions. Evidently, he is a man who has had numerous achievements and continues to build a solid reputation.
Robert E Wright’s long and successful journey to the top began back in Fairport High School where he graduated in 1987. He then enrolled in Buffalo State College where he took a degree course in history. After he was through with his first degree, he furthered his studies in history and attained a Ph.D. in the year 1997. Since the year 2001, Wright has authored or co-authored six books, which focus on the early financial and political history of United States. Some of the books also focus on contractual challenges the construction industry in US is facing. He is a major critic of US public policies concerning construction, bailouts and banking, higher education, retirement saving companies and health care.
Wright’s published books have created great stimulation in the media leading to several radio and television interviews, which have further promoted his books. His has assured his readers that there are many more books to come in the near future. Other parties as well have recognized his books, praising them for informative material that has helped improve people’s economy. In fact, some of his early research has won several minor awards for being the best. He continues to do research regarding the economy and business.
Some people consider him much underrated, and is not yet widely famous as Harvard diplomatic and financial historian Niall Ferguson. Nevertheless, Wright is continuously attracting the attention of mainstream outlets of media and the blogosphere. This is chiefly because of the unusual combination of interesting prose styling and detailed scholarship that characterize a greater percentage of his work. The financial crisis experienced in the year 2008 did much to highlight Wright’s profile by bring into the fore the significance of his research agenda. This led the historian to appear on several big television networks to explain his research and views.
