When selected, a Volume Shadow Copy will then list all the changes made to the ?le and the dates these changes were made. At this point, you have three choices: Open When you open the ?le, you execute the ?le and view it on your desktop. To alter these, you click the Settings button. Then, you can set the maximum amount of space that can be used by Volume Shadow Copy and also can adjust the schedule of copies using the Schedule button. To perform Exercise 8.2, you will need a large amount of space 70-640 available on your server hard drive that is not where the local operating system is installed. The speci?c amount will depend on your individual server?s Configuration. For a basic install, 10?15GB should be suf?cient to perform the full backup. Start Server Manger by clicking the Server Manager shortcut button. Select the features screen, and then click Add Feature. Scroll to Windows Server Backup Features, select it, and click Next, as shown here. Using Volume Shadow Copy Since this is your first time backing up, the wizard will insist that you use different options than a previous instance because there are no previous instances. Just click Next.
