A lot of users are now wondering what the HTC Sensation XL is really all about. To those who are familiar with HTC Sensation (HTC’s
former flagship) then I am sure that you will find this handset more interesting.
The Sensation XL may have this passing resemblance to the Monster Beats HeadphonesTitan (its Windows Phone cousin), but let me tell you that it is way different
than the latter. It may have the same technical specifications with the same 4.7″ screens, even the same specifications for cameras, and
are both bearing the same feel and looks.
What other people do not know is that the Sensation XL is a Beats branded handset (just like the HTC Sensation XE). It also comes with a
Dr. Dre endorsed ear headsets. When it comes to shaping, the Titan and the Sensation XL are different. The unit comes with a sizable heft
to it. This makes it another mobile phone that is known to push boundaries. This is with regards to how much touch screens we can actually
fit to our pockets.
When it comes to Hardware, we cannot deny that all of the things mentioned about the Titan are all true. With its 1,600mAH battery to 0.39
inches, you will be amazed at how they were able to squeeze Monster Beats By Dre all of the parts and be able to create something as strong and powerful like
the Titan. It may be relatively smaller than the Sensation series but the Sensation XL is relatively lighter than the latter. It weight at
162 grams or 5.73 ounces. This makes this handset lighter than the HTC Sensation and the HTC Sensation XE.
When it comes to the phones total output, you can say that HTC was able to perform the impossible. This makes another HTC success story.
The Titan’s cover is known to wrap around its whole screen, while the XL’s upper bezel is extremely thinner than the latter. But then
again, this is just a trade off for its bigger chin (at the handset’s bottom). When it comes to the handset’s edges, you will notice it to
be more curved and the back cover is a bit tricky to wrench off. But then again, that is just one of the things that set it apart from its
cousins and other Sensation handset models.
Now that you know more about the HTC Sensation and the HTC Titan, you won’t be able to say that the two are just the same.
