Preserve Indian tradition in hearts by giving traditional gifts

Globalization and impact of western cultures on Indian society made popular gifts like greeting cards, chocolates, soft toys in the recent past but still there are people in India who prefer to give gifts which have traditional values. Also, such gifts introduces the new generation with the Indian tradition. Such exchanges of gifts are quite successful in preserving the Indian tradition. The festivals of India are hundreds of years old. Like idols of Gods and also decorative items like wall paintings also contain pictures of Gods. Also, there are handicrafts which are mark of golden history of our country which include Rajah, Maharajahs, religious figures, religious places and wars. Such handicrafts are also given to near and dear once which always keep reminding us the ages old history of the country and also such gifts help in preserving Indian tradition in our hearts.
