Episode Synopsis: MELISSA & JOEY “A Fright in the Attic” Episode 11 – Mel starts hearing noises in the attic, and Joe is convinced it’s a ghost when their neighbor, Myrna (Julia Duffy), tells them about a previous owner who died in the house. Joe goes up to the attic to ward off the spirit, but is surprised to find Mel’s con man brother-in-law, Lewis Scanlon, who scammed Joe out of all his money and left town. It turns out, Ryder and Lennox have been helping him hide out for a few days while still on the run. Mel and Joe want to turn him in immediately, but the kids convince them to let him celebrate one more Halloween with the family at the annual neighborhood holiday bash. But will Lewis stay for the party or take off again, on “A Fright in the Attic,” an all new episode of “Melissa & Joey” premiering on ABC Family Tuesday, October 19 at 8:00PM ET/PT.
Show Summary: Melissa & Joey, a half-hour comedy with Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence executive producing and starring, finds Hart portraying Mel, the grown-up former wild child of a political family who is now a local politician herself.
