Bathroom Cleaning Tips for Cleaning Maniacs
Obsessive-compulsive disorder is among the most common mental diseases. For instance, it is met in people as often as asthma or diabetes. So if you suffer from intrusive thoughts there is a good chance that you’re a cleaning maniac. Well, I don’t think that people should be ashamed of their conditions – this is just the way you are after all! Maybe you’ve didn’t give it much of a thought but you might be actually enjoying your condition. In that case a very smart psych would say that you’re actually suffering from obsessive-compulsive personality disorder and bla-bla-bla. Anyway I came up with a few bathroom cleaning tips for you that will help you satisfy your urge for cleanness.
Let’s start with the soap tray! What, you didn’t know that the place you keep your soap that you use to clean hands fifty times a day is actually swarmed with evil germs that want to eat you from the inside out? Well, apparently yeah! That place is full of bacteria it is recommended that you clean it once in a while with something toxic like bleach or I don’t know – I’m not much of a cleaner myself. It is also recommended that you change your soap from time to time. After a while, the germs in your home environment get used to the presence of the soap and it doesn’t bother them at all. If your germ anxiety is too strong and you’re too chicken to clean the soap tray by yourself I’d recommend for you to call a friend or book some professional cleaning services in London. This tip also goes for your shampoo, shower gel and all cleaning products that you’re using. Just change the brand from time to time and you’ll be good.
I guess that since you’re a cleaning maniac – your bathroom gets extra tender and loving attention and you make sure that every surface is clean. I read somewhere that one of you guys cleaned his bathroom with 7 different detergents. When the vapors of the chemicals combined it caused a chemical reaction that triggered an explosion. Gosh, cleaning can be dangerous! That’s it, I’m never doing any chores around home anymore. So anyway, you probably clean your bathroom tiles very often but do you clean the space between them? Did you know fast food restaurants have a special day of the week that is dedicated to cleaning those particular spaces? They either do it to make the lives of restaurant workers miserable or the other logical option is that those spaces are full of more germs. To really prolong the cleaning procedure of the spaces between tiles I recommend for you to use a toothbrush. You’ll be cleaning for a whole day!
I guess, the areas that need special attention are around the toilet and the drain. That’s where bacteria like to hang out. A friend of mine that works in a company that provides cleaning services in London told me that every time you flush a toilet – an invisible cloud of germs rises and you inhale them so you should put down the toilet bowl lid every time you’re flushing. I guess you can’t clean air but I’m sure that some of you did try to in the past.
