Things We Use Every Day (That We Never Seem to Clean)
If we heed the idiom “Cleanliness is next to godliness.” and take it really seriously then everything we come in contact must be clean. I’m not some sort of cleaning maniac with obsessive-compulsive disorder but I do prefer when the things around me are moderately clean. But in our daily agenda, there are things that we constantly use for this and that but we never seem to clean. I will give you some examples of such things and I am sure that you will be quite surprised. I also do not doubt that you will clean them when you have the chance to.
Why don’t we start with small electronic pieces such as cell phones, music players, netbooks, electronic readers and so on. If you have such a belonging when was the last time you cleaned it? Does this even come as a surprise to you? Well, what did you expect – that after touching them all the time (with dirty and sweaty hands) and placing them in your pockets and bags they won’t be swarmed with bacteria bacteria? The worst part is that we often use those things while eating and we touch them with greasy hands. We’re both making them dirtier and making our hands covered in unsanitary agents. According to a company that provides cleaning services in London – people should avoid using electronics and eating at the same time. After time – the constant increased “germ income” may lead to some serious health issues.
Leather accessories are also often neglected by their respective owners. We clean our leather shoes and jackets but what about our leather, wallets, purses, belts, bracelets and whatever you can think of. The problem with leather is that you can’t wash it in a washing machine. You have to buy special polishing oils and so on – I don’t really want to get into this. Only smooth leather can be cleaned with a home-made cleaning solution of liquid soap and water but it is still a risk. Not that you won’t be able to clean it but there is always a chance to ruin the leather.
How about accessories such as watches, glasses, necklaces, bracelets. They are in constant contact with your skin but when was the last time when you bothered to clean them? If you wear glasses, you clean the glass in your shirt or a special cloth but are you doing something about the frame? How about watches? Often, we just wipe off the display but what about the case and the band? Well I can tell you that this does not count as cleaning. The least you can do is moisten a little piece of cotton with rubbing alcohol and wipe them off. It is just so easy and it will properly sanitise all of these things.
What can I say, there are actually a lot of things that people use constantly but never bother to clean. If I had to share with you all of them it would be best If I just wrote a book. Even if you’re too lazy to or don’t know how to clean something – you can find professional cleaning services in London for absolutely everything in nowadays. My final advise for you is short and simple: if something comes in contact with you – clean it occasionally.
