Class 12th admissions: Last date for form submission 20th June 2012
The admission to Class 12th or XI in city government schools will begin after June 20 as the UT Education Department has specified that this date will be the last date for submission of forms. Registration forms can be filled online and can be downloaded from chdeducation.gov.in . The forms can be deposited in any of the six schools-specified as the centres for sale of prospectus.
The department on Monday issued a set of instructions to students for filling up the forms. The candidates have been urged to fill correct grades for the subjects, for which columns have been provided.
These include English, Maths, Science, Social Science, Language II. The Class X mark sheets must be attached with the forms. Of the 17 preferences that students are allowed to make, they have been urged to fill the first 15 preferences from among the model schools and the remaining two, preference number 16 and 17, should include non-model schools near the candidate’s residence. The information given by the candidate will be uploaded on the website of education department on June 27.
Candidates can check their complete details and in case of queries or corrections, can intimate it at the Grievances Redressal Cell set up at Government Model Senior Secondary School Sector (GMSSS) Sector 27 and Sector 22.
