Tourists can also enjoy rides on speed boats, jet skis, sand bikes, para-gliding and banana boats during this occasion.
Many resorts and hotels are spread along the 6 km-stretch of the beach. Many new hotels are coming up in the beach resort. The standard rent for double-bed rooms varies from Rs.1500 in budget hotels to above Rs.4000 in high-end hotels.
Well connected by road and rail, probably the best way to reach Mandarmani is by road. There are numerous state owned buses and private buses plying from Kolkata to Mandarmani. The nearest railway station in Mandarmani is Contai that lies on the Howrah-Digha route.
The best time to visit Mandarmani is during the monsoons.
