Padded Envelopes Keep Your Mail Snug

Whenever we expect something valuable to arrive to us from the mail, we cannot help but sometimes feel just a little worried that it won’t arrive perfectly in one piece.  It has happened many times in the past – paperback books with folded covers, clothing items with a bit of damage, and fragile equipment getting broken or chipped somewhere.

E-commerce is all the craze nowadays and no online seller can survive without padded envelopes.  They ensure the safety of your merchandise by keeping even very small items intact and in place.

Instead of stuffing a box with lots of shredded paper (which a lot of us find annoying because of the mess it makes), wouldn’t it be better to just use padded envelopes that are more compact and won’t leave a lot of trash?  There are several reasons why these things are widely used now for shipping.

Padded envelopes come in different sizes, so you are sure that whatever your item is, it will fit.  They are equipped with special padding made of cotton-like fibers or bubble wrap attached to both sides of the envelopes.  The space inside the envelopes is quite constricted for the purpose of keeping the contents from bumping against each other and getting misplaced.

On the other hand, the handler of the items will also benefit from padded envelopes because he or she is protected from sharp-edged items.  While they aren’t the best tools to pack large, highly-breakable items, they are the best ones to use for small figurines and jewelry.

Padded envelopes also have self-adhesive flaps that keep your things inside the package.  However, the adhesive is just sticky enough to seal the envelope and be opened by the receiver as well.  It also helps that they look sleek and professional – definitely more so than a plain brown box stuffed with crumpled pieces of paper.
