Maruti Suzuki India launched another hatchback in India in the form of Maruti Ritz. It was May 2009, when the largest carmaker in the country rolled out a B+ segment vehicle properly placed between the likes of Maruti Swift and Maruti A-Star. This tall boy image car was based on Swift platform, but apart from platform everything else was new and fresh, from amazing looks to distinct interiors and from performance to all-new engine. The car in other countries including Japan is called ‘Splash’, but the Indian version shares a unique individuality. Up till now, it has sold very well and to continue the same temperament, Maruti is all set to launch a face-lifted model soon.
As of now, there are two engine options to choose from one is diesel and other is petrol. The 1.2L (1197cc) petrol motor with 4-cylinder generate 85 PS of max power at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 113 Nm at 4500 rpm. On the other side, the fuel efficient 1.3L (1248cc) CRDi diesel engine carries out a sheer power of 75 PS at 4000 rpm and some commendable torque figures of 190 Nm at 2000 rpm. Both the engines are mated to 5-speed manual gearbox. Maruti Ritz Price is affordable.

Maruti Ritz can be said to have dynamic outfit which grabs the attention of the most oblivious person on the road. Offered with seat height adjuster, Maruti Ritz provides with features like reclining movement, lateral movement and other adjustments for the added comfort.
