This is castle that was built by the District collector of Salem named M D Cockburn in 1820. This is one of the oldest buildings in Yercaud at the same time they were the first to have the commercial plantations such as coffee, oranges, and apples.
7. Bear’s Cave
This found near the Norton Bungalow and is located in a private coffee estate. This is a huge cave that was considered to be home of the bears. This is also considered to be a very important tourist spot since this is believed to be one the six abodes of Lord Subramanya.
8. Shevaroy Temple
This is the highest point of Yercaud to which it is about 5,326 feet in height. This known for their annual festival that is held every May, they have exhibition for 7 days of flowers, dogs, boating races and more. This was dedicated to Lord Shevaroyan.
