The frozen berries must be check for the presence of any moulds or crushed berries. This will prevent the rot from spreading throughout the entire range of berries. The berries must never be stored once they have been washed. The washed berries must be consumed soon after washing them as leaving them would result in the production of moulds and rotting will occur.
