Canon Announces A Mirrorless Camera With The Canon EOS-M
Canon announces its first mirrorless camera with the Canon EOS-M. This digital camera
combines an 18 megapixel APS-C sensor with a DIGIC 5 image processor. Add a 3.0 1040K LCD touch screen and you have a powerful camera that will suit both beginning photographers, hobbyists, and advanced amateurs alike.
This smaller camera can act like a DSLR and has many of the features that will make it work equally as well as a point and shoot camera. The body measures 4.28 inches wide x 2.62 inches high x 1.27 inches deep and weighs 262 grams.

As of yet we do not know the price but we hope that based on seeing the Sony NEX5N and
Olympus OM-D E-M5 that the Canon EOS-M will hopefully be priced at a mid-point between those cameras. We are thinking that this camera may be offered at or around $800.
