Good Day Spa Accommodation Checklist
If you are staying at a day spa then you are probably looking forward to some true R&R and to getting to completely relax, kick your feet up and live the good life. Being in a day spa means being in a place that is completely designed with your relaxation and indulgence in mind and you should find that you come away feeling completely at ease and completely relaxed.
But of course day spas vary like anything and quality of the day spa you stay in will of course effect just how relaxed and at ease you feel when you get home and just how well you recover from your daily stresses. Here we will look at some of the things that would make for a good and even a great day spa.
Solitude: When you stay at a day spa you go there to get away from the hubbub of daily life. You may not realize it, but just being in a busy area and seeing everyone rushing around all the time has a profound effect on your psychology and prevents you from fully relaxing at any time. By staying at a day spa that is somewhere secluded and quiet you can really relax and breathe and you can enjoy looking up at the stars and not hearing the rush of traffic. It doesn’t hurt to look up your day spa accommodation on Google Maps then and to see where you are located and whether it’s somewhere conducive to relaxing and unwinding.
Treatments: Now of course it’s very important that you get all the treatments you could want from your day spa and that means making sure that you have access to massages, to facials, to foot rubs, to manicures, to pedicures and to anything else. Of course it doesn’t matter if they have every treatment under the sun, as long as they have the ones you might want. It’s also important of course that these treatments be good and that they be professional so you don’t come out of your massage with more knots and aches than you went in – this is something that you won’t really know until you get there but having a look at the reviews online can be a good indicator.
Comfort: It’s also important that you be comfy and rested in your room and this is just as important as getting good treatments. Take a look at the rooms online and look to see if they have all the amenities you want. Having a great shower for instance and a bath with a spa feature can make all the difference and a comfy bed is critical. Again you can look at reviews online for this, and the star rating of the accommodation will give you a clue. You should also have a look at what else they offer – is there tea and coffee in the room? Do they have breakfast included? Is there the option to have a paper sent up to your room in the morning?
I found this great olinda accommodation after searching for spa resorts in Victoria.
