Ranchi – Capital City of Jharkhand
Ranchi is a beautiful place and also known for beautiful water falls and scenic lakes. It is the capital city of Jharkhand. The city is a prominent city and served a vital role in the Jharkhand movement. The word Ranchi is derived from Archi, an Oraon village. Archi is a Oraon word which means bamboo grove or stave. Panch Gagh falls is well noted as it is formed with five streams with the division of Banai river. The place is located 6km far from the place named Kunti on the Ranchi- Chakradharpur Road.
