Universal Studios released a new animated movie known as Despicable Me in July 2010. Whereas primarily targeted to children, as is common nowadays, the movie may even be loved by many adults. This Christmas, readythe DVD are sure to be big sellers.
The plot of Despicable Me revolves around the primary character Gru, a supervillain who wants to pull off something big to keep up his notoriety. In his plot to steal the moon and achieve back his repute, he adopts three young girls to help pull off his heist. In the long run, Gru is more interested in being a father to those girls than to being a supervillain.
The movie is witty and funny and has some memorable characters. There’s Agnes who loves unicorns and her two sisters, Edith and Margo. The cute yellow minions that assist Gru with all his “evil plans” really appeal to children.
