IT hosts the Secretariats of the SAARC Consortium on Open and Distance Learning (SACODiL) and the Global Mega Universities Network (GMUNET) initially supported by UNESCO.

IGNOU invites application from Indian citizens domiciles/redidents in North East Region in the prescribed form for filling up the following position :

  1. Section Officer : 08 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs. 4800
  2. Personal Assistant : 16 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs. 4200
  3. Data Entry Operators : 13 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs. 4200
  4. Semi Professional Assistant : 04 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800
  5. Assistant : 09 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400
  6. Stenographers : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2400
  7. Junior Assistant-cum-Typist : 19 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.1900

Application Fee : Rs.100 (Rs.50/-) in the form of DD drawn in favour of IGNOU, New Delhi. (PH/ Women candidates are exempted)
