Tattoos – Reason to Reject Green Card Applications
Many immigrant visa applications have been rejected due to the tattoos on the bodies of the candidates. Most of these tattoos are a sign of gang membership. There are few tattoo designs that are linked with few Latin American gangs. Government that is aware of such tattoos rejects green cards to the people with those tattoos.
Majority of the applicants say that they had tattoos just because they liked it and they are nowhere connected to any American gang. But based on the American immigration laws, applicants having tattoos should be denied. Even if the person has no connection with any criminal activity, American immigration laws should be enforced.
Initially, the tattoo with both smiling and crying masks were linked up with a Latin American gang but today, this pattern has become a common one. Such tattoo patterns have become popular and people who do not anything about these gangs have it on their bodies. But sadly, immigrant visas are rejected and are not permitted to enter USA. This was many applications of innocent people are rejected.
The person named Hector Villalobos, who is a spouse of a US citizen, was not allowed to enter US because of the tattoos on his body. He travelled all the way from Mexico to Colorado to attend the interview of obtaining a green card. Later, he was not given permission to re-enter US because of the tattoos. He said that the tattoos were similar to the other tattoos in America and he has no connection with any American criminal gang.
People of Latin America are much worried about these tattoo checks. The immigrant visas of these Latin Americans are denied just because they are from Latin America. However, not just the tattoo, there are also few reasons like providing wrong information and telling lies to the immigrant officers that result in rejecting of a USA green card application.
