Walk Like an Egyptian: Egypt Tours of History and Life
Egypt is arguably the oldest country in the world and throughout the years its influence has reached all aspects of life. Many advanced cultures and people lived here before the Common Era – but ultimately its history and its heritage has rung into the present day. An Egypt tour is something fantastic because there are tours that touch upon the adventurous side, the laid back side, and the historical side. Tourists can find the perfect combination of big city amenities and off-the-beaten path goodies that ultimately make this country diverse.
Cairo
The capital of Egypt, Cairo has several accommodations and within those accommodations, tourists can enjoy simplicity and luxury. Ultimately, however, in Cairo tourists can take advantage of the historical monuments here, exuding its history around every corner. From the Mohamed Ali Mosque to the various pyramids (some stands at over 2000 years old) there are historical attractions that are fun. If you want to go more in depth into the breadth of Egyptian history, the Antiquities Museum is the place to be. There are over 120,000 items on display here.
Hurghada
This counts as off-the-beaten path. You won’t find many deserts in the Middle East, but you will find probably the most beautiful ones here. Surrounded by crystal clear blue waters, you can enjoy the warm sun while getting your feet wet and sipping on drinks. Go diving off the coast and witness dolphins, sting ray and jellyfish. You would be remiss if you missed this place.
Luxor
Luxor is one of the most historical cities in Egypt. Many tourists can experience life from the ancient days here. Holding to many of the ancient traditions of life, the locals put on an inexplicable show of times that were not filled with technology. The Temple of Karnak is the oldest temple there, built over 2000 years ago. The Valley of the Nobles is an ancient ruins but the views here are just simply awesome and fantastic. See various tombs and artifacts here.
These are only three places of renown. Egypt is full of them, but more importantly there are plenty of accommodations near all the attractions. There is no shortage of things to do while here so tourists should take advantage of the time that they have here and book luxury accommodation in Egypt as soon as possible. You will more than likely come back a changed person having seen the wonders and amazement of this country.
