An airline founded in 1993 in November, Qatar Airways commenced operations in January 1994. The Government of Qatar owns this flagship of Qatar. Its primary hub is the Doha International Airport and its headquarters is the Qatar Airways Tower in Doha. Since its establishment, the airline has shown a continuous growth each year.

The First Class has a legroom space of 6.5 feet and has reclining seats that can change into beds. This class also has massage and entertainment facilities. Business Class passengers on board the Boeing 777 aircraft can enjoy the use of beds that are completely flat. On long-distance flights, they can recline the seats to 172 degrees. The airline serves wines and champagnes to the passengers.
The Economy Class offers individual TV screens behind each seat to passengers. Those travelling on the same class in Boeing 777 have the facility of touch-screen televisions. The Premium Terminal is Qatar Airways exclusive lounge for the First Class and Business Class travelers. The lounge has facilities such as conference rooms, duty-free shopping, play area, restaurants and check-in. Qatar Airways Privilege Club (Qmiles), which is the frequent flyer program of the airline, has third party agreements with several other airlines. The passengers can avail discounts on the ticket prices even if they make a reservation on these partner airlines.
Customers can book tickets at the airport counter or online. After selecting the desired flight, they will have to enter the personal details such as the name, age, number of people travelling, etc. They can pay online with their credit card, debit card or through the net banking facility.
