Feminism and Novelty—- Alberta Ferretti and A DÉTacher Fall Fashion Show 2012
At the end of the fashion show of Alberta Ferretti, there are several dresses remind us of the consistent stand: romantic, graceful and a little vintage. When Ferretti try hard to replace his series, they are important references.” I want to reflect women into the future”. She says, “now it become tougher for women. They should be stronger for their vital roles in the society.”
That intuition based on the dichotomy creates works which express masculine appearance covering a feminine inner world or more specifically is open well clipping striped overcoat and uncovering dress embellished with feathers. At the first, the conception of women covered with dress doesn’t get special attention. However, Ferretti fells kind of strength in her design. To emphasize the key point, she insists to use one simple color. She gives away the printed flowers in the early fall even the uk evening dresses are elastic and the corset strapless dress which is structured is collocated with chiffon dresses.
Even though using shining pink and orange, A Détacher’s show till send a kind of unusual depressing feeling. Designer Mona Kowalska is famous for her novelty and always using shining printed flowers. Recently, in her products conference, she always uses a very interesting printing—a huge black polka pot. That’s why it’s said that there is a pessimistic tone in this conference. Designer also uses navy blue and brown squares and flowers which are conservative. You will miss her usual novelty on holiday party dress.
But that doesn’t that there are no weird points of this conference. For Kowalska, the most useful idea is the ruffle sleeves hanging down two sides. She applies it repeatedly to overcoats, jackets, printed shirts, and dresses, heavy and comfortable sweaters. It is not usual in A Détacher’s fashion show but you have to adjust to it. But when one that kind of black woolen sweater shows in the runway, it really contracts many eyes. But her other themes like heavy woven dresses and pants with double shadows on the waist will never get popular.
Designer also uses other ideas though they are not often used. Kowalska is confident in those bright colors which have been dark in other runways. She presents bright mesh woven and bright red silk attires. Her most outstanding design is one long overcoat which covers collarbone and is collocated with slim short pants in the same material. She spontaneously shows very lovely long blue prom gowns
