In the lack of an air conditioner, the high humidity level can be controlled through the use kitchen or bathroom exhaust fan. Generally, high humidity levels are found in these two places. The exhaust fan will eliminate the extra moisture from the air leading to a comfortable humidity level.
A dehumidifier is another option to get rid of the high humidity level. It is a very important device especially in such areas as the basement or if a family member is allergic to mold. In such case, use the dehumidifier in the bedroom of the allergy sufferer and in all areas of the home where there is high humidity level.
These two devices are available in various sizes, so you can purchase the most adequate one for your house and rooms. Humidifiers and dehumidifiers are commonly found in a number of stores, including discount chains, drugstores, home improvement stores or even online.
