NYC’s Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence & Warrior Women join forces
(1888 PressRelease) As part of October’s Domestic Violence Awareness month, Jasmine Sandler, Producer and Host of the podcast and event series supporting women, Warrior Women in Business, has joined forces with The NYC Mayor’s Office to End Domestic & Gender-Based Violence to create a Silent Auction charity event on 10/24 from 6PM-9PM at the New York Art Center in Tribeca NYC.

Jasmine Sandler, presents “An Evening of Strength & Beauty: A Silent Auction & Art Gala to End Domestic Violence” on 10/24 from 6PM-9PM At The New York Art Center in Tribeca, NYC.
100% of All Silent Auction proceeds will go directly to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, to support programming for survivors of domestic and gender-based violence in New York City.
Commissioner Cecile Noel of The Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-based Violence (ENDGBV) said of this event:
“Ending domestic violence requires the collaboration of everyone. Events where we can raise awareness and shine a light on this issue ensures that everyone knows they have an opportunity and an obligation to get involved. Together, we can all do our part to ensure that survivors do not feel alone.”
The evening features remarks from Hannah Pennington, Assistant Commissioner for Policy and Training at the Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender Based Violence (ENDGBV); and a talk from Luisa Diaz Brown, Mrs. New York International 2019, Producer of Mi Amor Gala and “Silver Lining Playbook” film star.
Additional speakers include Deborah Max, Mental Health Expert on Sexual Abuse and Author of The Thorazine Goddess , Michael Sottile , Director of The New York Art Center and acting star of films including 1994’s “Speed” featuring Sandra Bullock and “Reservoir Dogs.”
A Silent Auction will feature contributions from over 20 of NYC’s top emerging artists from Gallery 104, NY Museum VIP event tickets, NY Giants & NY Knicks items, Luminary for Women Day Passes & much more! 100% of All Silent Auction proceeds will go directly to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, to support programming for survivors of domestic and gender-based violence in New York City.
Cocktails, Wine & Hors Devours will be served.
This is being held and hosted by The New York Art Center in Tribeca on 7 Franklin Place. The Art Center in TriBeCa is a massive center focused on art exhibitions from artist contributors from around the world. The center covers 9000 Sq Ft though three levels of exhibits, including 6 Galleries and 11 exhibitor booths.
Jasmine Sandler, event producer, is also a singer and songwriter. For the month of Domestic Violence, she has written what she calls “An anthem to end Domestic Violence” called CALLING 911. Jasmine witnessed first hand domestic violence growing up in a family of physical and verbal abuse. The production of this event supports her personal mission to give women and children who are contained in these situations and the strength, power and support to leave and improve their lives’
“An evening of Strength & Beauty on 10.24 is intended to make an impact against Domestic Violence beyond just the one on one support, but to deliver a trickle effect to support women, children and families who suffer and raise real awareness so that these patterns of abuse are finally treated and ended. ‘
