Constipation increases the pain intensity in Sciatica. Straining at stool will increase the intra-abdominal pressure and hence the strain at the Sciatic nerve could also be increased. Therefore; a person should take balanced diet full of fruits, vegetables and fibers in order to avoid the constipation and hence the Sciatica pain.
