The halogen bulb can operate its filament at a higher temperature without losing its operating life. Its lifetime is enhanced through the halogen cycle that avoids the darkening by re-depositing tungsten from inside the bulb back into the filament. This is the reason that the life of such bulbs is twice a GLS bulb. The light produced by halogen bulbs is bright, natural and warm that makes visibility far clearer and they also provide you a large variety when it comes to colors and shapes.
