The brand of Epson was created in 1975, shortly thereafter they created their first printer in 1978 and it became one the bestselling printers in the US. Epson printers are often thought to be some of the best in the printer market, but they also come with their fair share of issues that can lead to printer errors. One of the more prevalent issues seems to be ink-related errors. Errors can be caused for a variety of reasons, from incorrectly installing a new ink cartridge, only certain colors printing out or running out of ink when you just put in a new printer cartridge. There is a full range of printers within the Epson line, you can find very basic cheap printers that are meant for occasional use in the home, to much more expensive printers that have a lot of extra functions and are typically meant for a business. Whether it is the businessman in a hurry to make his presentation deadline, or the mother at home trying to print the last few pictures to finish a scrapbook page, the frustrations can mount when a relied-upon piece of equipment fails. I bet there have been a numerous amount of times that you have just wanted to take a bat to your printer because it would not work when you needed it most.
If you are committed to the Epson brand you must maintain some sort of patience until all of the ink problems have been figured out, whereas most consumers will look to other brands to solve these common dilemmas. There is hope, as more and more sites and bloggers address these issues, offering solutions so the customer is not forced to seek information from tech support. It seems like it would be much easier for Epson to create products that don’t malfunction as much before they lose too many customers.
