Getting To Know Your Bingo Rules

Bingo rules are the simplest of all rules of any game you must have ever played. You are not needed to study the rules as such. You only need to quickly read through this article.

There are some variations of rules but basically you are required to get the right numbers on the bingo card first and then you have a bingo. Generally there is a caller to call out numbers which you are then supposed to mark on your bingo card.

As a rule the bingo card consists of a grid of five columns and five rows providing twenty five opportunities. B, I, N, G, and O are the headings of the five columns a typical bingo card has in it.. Every column on the bingo card has some randomly picked numbers. column B consists of five randomly picked numbers from the inclusive range of numbers from one to fifteen. The second column i.e. column I consists of numbers falling between the range of sixteen to thirty. Columns N, G, and O follow the same pattern of ranges of numbers i.e. fifteen to thirty, thirty one to forty five and forty six to sixty respectively, with only one free spot in column N.

Generally in all places numbers are kept spinning for some time and then pulled out and announced one after the other. Whenever a number is declared you run through the numbers on your card to find it and then mark it in any way like say simply circle it. In bingo rules, the current game ends when someone yells out bingo.

Basically bingo is a very simple game and no rules of the game require to be remembered as such. Every bingo game will have a particular pattern of numbers to be achieved for the game to be won. For example the winning pattern declared for the game could be ‘any line’. This simply means that to win the game you only need to have numbers marked in one line which may be horizontal or vertical or diagonal. There are games in which some particular line has to be marked out. At times there are games for only a definite pattern of a line like vertical or horizontal or diagonal.

There can be lots of more patterns which can be decided on as the winning pattern for that specific bingo game. These patterns can be anything like four corners, blackouts, an ‘x’ etc. Largely the more irregular the winning pattern is the more is the likeliness of you winning a lot. Even though every bingo hall will have particular bingo rules irrespective of it being a real or an online hall basically they will be like the ones we discussed earlier in this article. It is important to learn these rules as well, to make your playing time more enjoyable.
