Can You Make a Water Filter?
Let’s say that you were going on a survival adventure or maybe even just going out camping, and you find that you have no clean drinking water available to you. Well wouldn’t knowing how to make your own water filter be something that would come in very handy? The answer is most definitely yes, and so everyone really should be aware of how to make a water filter.
If you ever find that you are out in the middle of nowhere and cannot be sure of how safe the water supply near you is to drink, at least if you know how to make a water filter you will be able to make a water filter and get water that you can drink from it, so that you can stay hydrated and survive.
How to do it
Learning to make a water filter is really not that difficult or complex at all. The first step is going to be for you to find a container. Whether you have a container on hand such as an empty pop or water bottle of course this would be best, but if you are empty handed then you are just going to have to rely on what mother nature has for you.
Even if you can just find birch bark or something of the sort to use, this will be enough and help you to get by.
Now you are going to want to fill your container up with some layers of sand and gravel. These are going to work as the filtration system and the more sand or gravel that you use, the better off you are going to be because the cleaner the water is going to end up being.
Now if you want to make a water filter you have to use another container, and hold it underneath of the first container while you are pouring the water into the first so that the filtered water will come through and into the second container which you can drink out of.
This is the easiest way to make your own water filter and there are other methods that you can learn more about as well. The most important thing is that you are never going to be unsure of how to get clean drinking water. Especially if you are in a foreign place the water can be contaminated, so make sure that you use a water filter at all times for your drinking water.
