With summer right around the corner, many of you are probably beginning to think about your next holiday and all the fun you will have in the summer sun this year. And when planning your next summer holiday, you may want to consider one of the countries in Europe. Traveling to Europe is very popular, mostly for the history and all the sights, but did you know that Europe also features a number of countries with miles and miles of beautiful beaches? If you’re thinking about traveling to Europe in search of some of the best beaches, one country that has to be seen is Spain. A trip to Spain not only offers rich culture and history, shopping and mouth-watering cuisine, but miles and miles of warm, beautiful beaches. All up and down the Mediterranean coastline you’ll find a number of all-inclusive beach resorts with plenty of water and land activities by day, and a non-stop nightlife featuring plenty of bars and nightclubs.
Next up on the list are the gorgeous beaches of Portugal and all this historic country has to offer. Portugal is not far from Spain and offers a number of beaches and seaside activities in places like Algarve, which has become a very hot tourist spot and the Azores which includes nine separate islands, each with miles of stunning beaches and plenty to do for the whole family.
When it comes to beautiful beaches in Europe, no one can ignore the countries of Cyprus and Greece. Both Cyprus and Greece feature rich culture and history, but when you’re finished exploring, the beaches in both of these countries afford you the opportunity to kick back and relax in the warm Mediterranean sunshine. Cyprus and Greece are known for their deep blue Mediterranean waters and a number of all-inclusive beachside resorts with plenty of activities for the entire family.
The countries of Croatia and Turkey, although not immediately thought of for their beaches, do offer many coastline resorts and activities for the holiday traveler. October is a popular travel month for the country of Turkey, as the warm Mediterranean sun allows for long, lazy days spent on the beach and a rich nightlife loaded with lots of things to do. Before you finalize your summer travel plans, be sure to consider Turkey and Croatia as must-see locales.
