Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa. In West Africa there is a country named Sierra Leone. the name of the capital of this country is Freetown. It has a tropical climate and English is the native language here. It is a constitutional republic with unicameral legislature. The economy of the country is dependent on mining and it is still a developing nation. One of the major activities of this country is fishing. it also contributes to economy of the country tuna, lobster, crab and snapper are some of the species of fishes found here and it has the largest fishing ground.

Moving to the wildlife and scenic beauties of Sierra Leone, Yawri Bay is one of the best. the place has many rich mangroves which is the home for thousands of birds. this place is present in the south east of the capital sity. Fishing is also one of the activities here. The Kangari hills forest is considered to be a main scenic spot is the country. the hills is also located in the east of capital. This reserve is a part of a hill range. the highest part of the hill range is called as Kang-ari. The water in the reserve supports the agriculture of the place. Also two famous rivers namely the Pampana river and the Moa river originate in this hill range. There is one more forest reserve that is equally beautiful as this. its known as the kambui hills forest reserve. it serves as a production reserve for timber. there are also some catchment area for close by the reservoir. Loma Mountains and Gola forest are some of the other tourist attractions. the revenue to the government increases since these beautiful places attracts tourists all over the world. Mount Bintumani is the highest peak in West Africa and it is a part of Loma mountains. This mountain range is the highest range of Freetown Sierra Leone.
