Telegraph journalist takes plumbing course

Many people could benefit from plumbing courses whether professional or amateur.

Now, a journalist for the Daily Telegraph has noted that taking a plumbing course has given her more confidence.

Tal Gottesman, writing for the publication, said that prior to her plumbing training she did not know how to change a washer.

“But fast forward to today and I cannot only tell you what a washer is, I can change one for you,” she said.

Noting that her boiler would regularly turn off and she would not know what to do, Ms Gottesman undertook a plumbing training course to teach herself the basics.

Attending a class, she learnt things including how to take apart and put back together a tap from scratch.

“I may not be able to fix the boiler, but I am less likely to be ripped off and – who knows – may even tackle the next dripping tap myself,” she concluded.
