Tudor Heritage Chrono Watch Review

Tudor, a luxury watch brand owned by Rolex, unveiled the Heritage Chrono ¨C the newest member of its Sport collection. This new Tudor watch is a nod to the brand??s status as the official timer of all Porsche international one-make cups.Based on the Tudor Oysterdate Chronograph created in the early 1970s, the watch pays tribute to the brand??s past as well. Faithful to the 1970s model, the Heritage Chrono copies the original shape, case middle, bezel, lugs and bracelet. For example, the bidirectional is exactly same as the original and of no real . practical use. While taking watch lovers to the 1970s, the watch brings us some modern feel by presenting the lugs with beveled and polished edge, knurled bezel and chronograp pushers that are quite different from the previous model. The dial has been greatly updated to showcase a contemporary feel as well. Being grey on black or black on grey, the dial showcase a dash of bright orange and three-dimensional appliqu¨? hour markers. Besides, the case is enlarged to 42mm and the strap comes with matching colors of the dial, which look quite contemporary. The last modern element of the watch is the the black eloxed aluminum disc of the bezel we discussed above. That is really somethiong impossible to be done in the early 1970s. On the opposite end of that scale, note the 45-minute counter at 9 o??clock is a reference to the original 7734 Valjoux movement. The watch is completed by a unique strap or a stainless steel bracelet. The strap, made from fabric, has a clear vintage-deat belt-inspited look-and-feel featuring a nice black, grey and orange color scheme. The bracelet, composed of three steel links, features a new clasp and Tudor shield logo.
