When you step out of the house, there are a lot of ways to burn calories without even thinking about it. Here are some:
1. When you go to the mall, market, or perhaps the movies, park as far away as possible from your designated location. Make sure you are with someone to make it a fast walk. This can get your heart rate up and you may feel energized.
2. Go ahead and take stairs wherever and whenever possible. I usually say to myself that elevators don’t exist. Periodically you have to take them-but if you notice those steps don’t be afraid to use them.
3. Wake up and manually affect the channel on your television. 1 know this sounds silly, nevertheless , you are moving your body, which means you are burning more calories. Every one of these little activities add up.
4. Walk the dog. No excuses-no one is that busy. It is a great way to get a workout-there’s that calorie burn again. It will make you feel better about yourself, as well as your dog will love you because of it. For my three black Labs, it’s the highlight of their day!
5. Invite some friends to rearrange your bedroom accessories. It’s a great way to work up a really good sweat, lake a rest and then go on to another person’s house and rearrange their bed?room.

8. While you are waiting in line for any movie or waiting outside for any friend to pick you up, locate a step, stair, or curb and walk down and up it. 9. Develop a fitness contest with your family-or willing family members. You will end up surprised how competitive everyone is able to get.
