Best Jailbreak Software
Hey Gadget Freaks – I wrote this article specifically for you! Do you own an Apple iPhone already? Have you played around with one? What do you think of the features and customizability? Do you think that the device lives up to all of your expectations, or are there some things that could be improved?
I’ve asked these questions to tons of my readers. The most common response that I get is that the iphone is a great device, but far from perfect. But did you know that there are ways to improve the device? To increase the customizability and even install 3rd party apps that aren’t in the apps store.
For instance, you’ve probably wished that you could install software that you have on your PC onto your iPhone. Software like Adobe Acrobat, or Open Office. Maybe even MS Word. What about Linux? Well, you can’t do it as the product comes off the shelf. No way in heck would Apple allow that. So is it completely impossible to install those features and programs?
Absolutely it’s possible! All you have to do is to jailbreak your phone! But how, you ask? Well, it simply involves installing the best jailbreak software that you can find onto your PC or Mac, connecting your iPhone to the PC via USB, and then hitting a couple of buttons! Then, you can install all kinds of software including apps from Cydia! But what jailbreak software are we speaking of?
My favorite piece of kit for this purpose is called the Phone Unlock Automaticamente. You simply go to the website directly from your phone’s Firefox browser, pay a couple of dollars, and hit “Go!” You don’t even need a PC with this software! And then you’re all set to go – downloading apps from Cydia and customizing your phone to your heart’s content.
The 2nd app that I recommend to people who might not necessarily be able to afford the price of my first pic is the iJailbreak Tool. It’s not free – it still costs a bit of money, but it’s a little cheaper than my #1 choice. It takes a little longer to do the unlock (sometimes up to 15 minutes), and you will need a PC or Mac to do the unlock. Other than that, it’s a great application that I highly recommend.
Finally, I also like the Global iPhone Unlock software, which is highly ranked by Computer World magazine. I like it because it not only does a Jailbreak, but also completes an unlock, which allows you to use the phone with T-Mobile, and not just ATT.
That last one is the most expensive of the three, but since it does a complete unlock, which usually requires the purchase of an entire seperate program, you can’t complain! At any rate, any of the applications discussed here should get you unlocked and up and running in no time flat!
